The city of Paxico utilizes water provided from the Rural Water District No. 2 to provide our residents.
The water is treated by a Reverse Osmosis filtration process, blended with about 20% raw water, followed by pH adjustment, Iron & Manganese sequestration and chlorine disinfection supplied to the water treatment plant by two Kansas River alluvial groundwater wells.
See the 2024 Consumer Confidence Report for most recent snapshot of the quality of the water that we provided last
year.
The city provides raw sewage services to connections to water services to sewer ponds maintained by certified city staff.
Trash services are provided to residential citizens through a 3rd party contract.
